Grief and Bereavement Services
When your loved one’s journey comes to an end, whether their care was provided through hospice of elsewhere in the community, please know that you are not alone. Our team is here to walk beside you, offering care, compassion, and support as you navigate the days ahead.
We provide grief and bereavement services at no cost to help you and your family find comfort, healing, and connection during this time. These programs are available to anyone in our community who has experienced loss.
Our Support Services:
Social Work Support
About four to six weeks after your loved one’s passing, our Social Worker will reach out by phone to check in and share information about the supports available to you and your family.
Our Social Worker is an integral part of our hospice care team, offering emotional and practical guidance with compassion and understanding. They’re here to listen, help you navigate what you’re feeling, and offer comfort when you need it most.
Individual Bereavement Support
Our Grief and Bereavement Care Services team provides gentle, one-on-one support in a safe and caring space where you can share, reflect, and begin to heal at your own pace. Whether you’re living with a terminal illness, caring for someone you love, or grieving a loss, we’re here to walk alongside you through every step of your journey.

Memorial Service
About four to six months after your loved one’s passing, we will reach out to invite you to our Memorial Service — a short, non-denominational gathering where families, friends, and hospice staff come together to honour and remember those who have died.
It’s a gentle time of reflection, connection, and remembrance, and a way to celebrate the lives of those we hold close in our hearts.
